Denmark's Export and Investment Fund

Danmarks Eksport- og Investeringsfond (EIFO) is Denmark's national business development bank and state export credit institution. It provides risk-willing financing across multiple mechanisms—loans, equity investments, guarantees, and buyer credits—to Danish companies at all development stages, with strategic focus on security, green transition, growth and entrepreneurship, innovative technologies, and global business expansion. EIFO works alongside financial institutions and investment funds rather than operating as a traditional venture capital fund.
